Alumel is characterized by the following physical sovystvo: the specific resistance making 0,32 Om×mm2/m; melting temperature which is equal to 1440 °C; in coefficient of linear thermoexpansion 13,7×10−6° C; density – 8,48 g/cm ³; with the temperature of annealing of 900-950 °C; with the hardness from 130 to 300 MPas.
